Gina is a Paralegal at Family Law Partners and joined our Brighton team in autumn 2021.
Since deciding that she wanted to pursue a career in law, Gina has undertaken work experience in various different law firms, giving her invaluable experience of different types of legal work. Back in 2015, Gina undertook a work experience placement with Family Law Partners and it was during this time that her interest in family law was sparked. She enjoys the personal aspect of meeting clients and helping those in need.
Gina completed a degree in English and Spanish Law (with a year abroad in Spain) at the University of Kent and it is this subject area that has given her a particular interest in the international aspects of family law such as child abduction. She is also now fluent in Spanish.
Whilst at university Gina studied an elective in family law, continued to undertake relevant work experience at various law firms and volunteered at the Kent Law Clinic. She also studied an optional module in mediation, all of which has added to her family law knowledge and experience.
Upon starting at Family Law Partners Gina has completed the LPC with the University of Law, which also included a family law elective.
In her spare time Gina enjoys running and has completed a half marathon this year raising over £1,000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust. She has now also signed up to take part in the Brighton marathon. Gina also enjoys socialising with friends and family and going for long walks with her dog, Murphy.
