Mark joined the team in 2019 from a leading City firm to head up our specialist family law team in London. He advises on all aspects of family and relationship breakdown with a particular focus on divorce and financial issues. He also has considerable experience of cases involving mental health issues and accusations of controlling or abusive behaviour.
Mark’s clients appreciate his calm, reassuring manner and his clear, pragmatic advice. Legal 500 describes him as “one of the best young legal minds”, while Citywealth reports that he has all the qualities you would want from a top family lawyer: intellectually acute, brilliant with clients and a robust negotiator.
In 2017 Mark was recognised as a ‘rising star of the private client professions’ by ePrivateClient magazine in their annual list of the Top 35 Under 35. In 2018 he was shortlisted for awards at both the Citywealth Future Leaders Awards and the LexisNexis Family Law Awards.
Mark regularly trains junior solicitors and barristers on family law issues and sat as chair of London Young Resolution (representing over 500 young family solicitors) for two years. He now sits on Resolution’s London committee and continues to promote its non-confrontational approach to family problems and solutions that consider the needs of the whole family.
Outside work Mark enjoys ballroom dancing and theatre – both watching and performing.
